Spiritual coffee: Can you see it?

Proverbs 23:7 (NKJV) For as he thinks in his heart, so is he.

Have you ever just sat and thought about your life, how it was before this very moment! I have, I have thought about how my husband and I started out with just a very, tiny two-bedroom apartment, a white couch, huge old school TV, and blow-up beds, as our only home decor! My husband and I drove a little white rusty dented car, with rusted expired tags, no AC, no rear view mirror and no door handles! We were not poor, we were dirt poor, even cockroaches had a better life than us! HA, HA, Oh did I mention we also had three kids by than!

My Husband and I have came a very long way in life, by the grace of God. During those times of going through those difficult days, it was extremely hard to see beyond our situation; but we kept on pushing forward! Too many people give up and throw in the towel! Living a life focused on whats around them, never having hopes or dreams of living beyond their current life situation!

However, for myself, there was just something inside of me,which I could feel to the depth of my soul; which saw an indoor pool, cherry wood cabinets, granite counter tops, and freshly done fingernails and a trip to Hawaii! LOL
I could feel it in my bones that God had the best for me and I needed to walk by faith and not by sight! I could either endure the state that I was in and keep pressing forward, or throw in the towel and accept a crummy life of defeat!

Well, those who know me well, know I am as stubborn as an old blue mule! I know many people think, if they could just see their futures, than they would push a little harder and endure every trail that comes their way!

As Christians we do know the future. The bible is so very clear, just pick it up and turn to the end of the bible. "The book of Revelations" tells us WE have WON!

All Things Made New
21 Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. 2 Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. 4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”

5 Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.”
6 And He said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts. 7 He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son.
If anything will motivate you to keep pressing forward in life. I pray the living word of God will motivate You! For the Word of God tells us, that our name is written in the lamb’s book of Life and satan is defeated!

You’re going to enter into God’s final rest where there is...
No more sorrow
No more tears
No more shame
No more sickness
No more poverty
No more darkness
Reunited with love ones
Moreover, you will live forever with your Heavenly Father, in his marvelous light!

So today don’t get discourage were your life is right now; because you already have the Victory. Start seeing yourself in a new light, and You are a overcomer through Christ, Jesus!


Heavenly Father, I thank You for the victory that is only found through Your redemption blood! Lord, there will come a day of Your return, and I wait patiently for it! I plan on rejoicing and shouting for joy, knowing that I will forever be in Your loving arms;according to Revelation 21:27, which states," 27 But there shall by no means enter it anything that defiles, or causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. In Jesus, Name I pray, Amen!

Spiritual Coffee: Prayer for our friends!

Ecclesiastes 4:12
Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him. And a threefold cord is not quickly broken.
Heavenly Father, we thank You that You are in the midst of all our friendships! Lord, as You have given us friends to sharpen us in the word of God, we are so very grateful! Lord, may we always be wise in choosing new friends carefully, that we are never led astray; according to Proverbs 12:26, which states,"The righteous should choose his friends carefully, For the way of the wicked leads them astray".

We thank You for those friends that stand in the midst of every trails with us, and walks by our side! Lord, we thank You for every friend that has brought us a word of encouragement, comfort, and sat with us during sorrowful times!

Lord, we ask that You bless them greatly today, as we honor their kindness and dedication in being our friends; according to Romans 13:7, which states," Render therefore to all their due: taxes to whom taxes are due, customs to whom customs, fear to whom fear, honor to whom honor." In Jesus name I pray , Amen!

Spiritual Coffee: Turn the other Cheek!

Good Morning Sisters in Christ! It is always a joy to come and fellowship with you all every morning. Here is our cup of Spiritual Coffee, inspired by God`s word!


Matthew 5:38-43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.’ 39 But I tell you not to resist an evil person. But whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also. 40 If anyone wants to sue you and take away your tunic, let him have your cloak also. 41 And whoever compels you to go one mile, go with him two. 42 Give to him who asks you, and from him who wants to borrow from you do not turn away.


It is not always easy to turn the other cheek, especially when we are dealing with people who are intent to doing us harm. However, the bible commands us to still do so. In doing good, we are found innocent and righteous in the Lord’s eyes. Instead of returning evil for evil, we are to over come evil, with good!

Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
Matthew 5:9
Blessed are the peacemakers, For they shall be called sons of God.

When we over come evil with good, we spoil the plans of satan, to stir up strife, bitterness, resentment, and chaos. We will always benefit by placing our enemies in God’s hands, and pray for the best for them! For in doing so, we keep our hearts pure before God and our prayer life flowing,as bitterness, and unforgiveness can clog up our prayer life quickly!


Heavenly Father, we come to You in the name of Jesus! Lord, we pray for all those who have used and abused us; and we pray for Your mercy and grace over their lives! Lord, help us to forgive were we have not forgiven, and to never hold a grudge! We know You do not hear the prayers of a sinner, so we refuse to allow satan to clog up our prayer line with unforgivness!


We choose to over come evil with good; according to Proverbs 25:21-22. which states," If your enemy is hungry, give him bread to eat;And if he is thirsty, give him water to drink;22 For so you will heap coals of fire on his head,And the Lord will reward you." In Jesus name we pray, Amen!

Spiritual Coffee: Dancing before the Lord!

2 Samuel 6:13-15 (NKJV)
13 And so it was, when those bearing the ark of the Lord had gone six paces, that he sacrificed oxen and fatted sheep. 14 Then David danced before the Lord with all his might; and David was wearing a linen ephod. 15 So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the Lord with shouting and with the sound of the trumpet

When the presences of The Lord, shows up in your home, there will be great shouts of joy, dancing and twirling for the Lord is in the house!

The bible says, that King David danced before the Lord with all his might! What a glorious day of rejoicing that was for king David, when God`s Ark was brought back to Israel! What more joy should we as Christians have, as God`s presences dwells within us all!

Note this verse:
1 Corinthians 6:19 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?

Did you see that? Our body is the temple of the Living God! Today, rejoice for God is with you always, He walks with you daily and He communes with you! Shout for Joy, for the greater One is in You!

Heavenly Father, I pray according to 1 John 4:4, which states,"You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is IN you is greater than he who is in the world. Lord, I shout for joy for You have sealed me with Your precious Holy Spirit!

I am not my own, but I belong to Christ; according to Galatians 2:20, which states" I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me." In Jesus name I pray, Amen!

Spiritual Coffee: Not just a hearer

James 1:22-23 (NKJV)
22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. 23 For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror;

The most important part of reading the bible is not just hearing the word of God; but also being a doer of the word! Lets face it, I can hear about driving a car 24/7, even read the manual, and ace the test. However, if I never put what I have learned to action, and drive a vehicle, it will become meaningless and eventually fade away from my memory!

Today, just don`t be a hearer of the word of God, but, also be a doer of the word. I love how the message bible puts it, and it reads...

James 1:22-24 "Don’t fool yourself into thinking that you are a listener when you are anything but, letting the Word go in one ear and out the other. Act on what you hear! Those who hear and don’t act are like those who glance in the mirror, walk away, and two minutes later have no idea who they are, what they look like."

What are you waiting for, get out there and be doers of the word! You are Victorious in Christ!

Heavenly Father, I just don`t want to be a hearer of the word of God; but I also want to be a doer of the word! Lord, I take my faith and put it to works today. Everything that I have learned from the studying of Your word, I will not let it go to waste. For I live only by faith in You; according to Hebrews 10:38, which sates"Now the just shall live by faith; But if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him.”

Lord, let me always be eager to take Your word to heart, and run with it! in Jesus name I pray, Amen!
